The Book button for your website

The Website button sits in the bottom corner of every page of your website and opens your booking form over the page. You can also put the form in a page, or open it from buttons you already have.

1. In TapBook, open Website.
2. On Website button, set what customers see, then choose Save website button. TapBook says Website button saved.

Button label is Book online, Book a service, Book a meeting or Get a quote.

Show Call lets customers call from the button and from your booking form. With one location, the help names that location's phone. With several, it reads: Customers can call each location's phone.

Shortcuts (up to 2) are rows in the Website button's menu that open the form at that service, such as a quote. Three or more asks you to choose up to 2 shortcuts.

The Preview beside the card updates as you change these. Only owners can open this page. If you don't see Website, email hello@tapbook.au.

Show Text lets customers send you a message from your website. It lands in your inbox, and you reply by SMS from your TapBook number. With several locations, each location gets its own message, and you reply from that location's number. Without a ready number the tick is off, and the help reads: Once your TapBook number is ready (Settings, Texts). See Your TapBook number and texts.

Add it to your website says: Send these to whoever looks after your website. Each goes in once, and changes you make here reach the website by themselves.

With more than one location, choose Location first. Every location is the whole business. A chosen location adds data-location to the code, and the links use that location's page.

Each block has Copy. The names are Copy the code: Button on every page, Copy the code: Form in a page and Copy the code: Your own buttons. TapBook says Code copied. Under the blocks, Service codes for data-service lists each service and its code.

Bookings from the corner button show as Website button. Bookings from the form in a page show as Website form. The detail is your website's address.

Paste it just before </body> on every page, or into your site builder's custom code or footer scripts. Copy yours from the card. This is the same code, with your business in place of your-business:

Paste it where the form should go. With the button's code already on the page, leave out the second line. On computers it is 640px tall: add data-height="720", for example, to change that.

Any link or button with data-tapbook-open opens the form over the page, and data-service opens it at a service. Without TapBook's code on the page, the link opens your booking page instead. The second example uses one of your services. Take its code from Service codes for data-service.
