TapBook

Branding

Put your colour, logo, photo and words on your booking page, and show your Google rating beside them.

Branding is the colour, logo, photo and words on your booking page. You can also show your Google rating once TapBook has linked your Google listing.

Where to find it

  1. In TapBook, open Booking page, then Branding. You can also open Branding.
  2. Change the fields. Preview shows the first step as customers see it, and it updates as you type. On a phone the preview sits under the form.
  3. Choose Save branding. TapBook answers Branding saved.

Only owners can change it. The tab is there once your booking page is published.

Colour, logo and words

The form is headed Branding.

Brand colour is what buttons and the brand panel use. If text on it would be hard to read, the form adjusts it. The swatch beside the field is named Pick a brand colour. A colour it can't use says Enter a colour like #B3261E.

Brand panel is Solid colour or Photo under the colour. Panel photo shows only for Photo under the colour. The help says A photo of the business, at least 800 px tall. If you leave it empty, the form says Upload a panel photo, or choose Solid colour.

Logo can be any shape, at least 256 px wide. The form shows it up to 208 by 136, and initials until there is one.

Headline is up to 50 characters, such as Car servicing in Narre Warren. An empty one says Enter a headline. A long one says Use 50 characters or fewer.

Short copy is up to 120 characters. An empty one says Enter the short copy. A long one says Use 120 characters or fewer.

Each service's icon or image is set on Services, not here. See Services and extras.

Panel photo and Logo use Upload image and Remove image. While a file is going up, the button reads Uploading…. A file that isn't a photo says Use a JPEG, PNG or WebP image. One that is too big says Use an image under 5 MB. A failed upload says We couldn't upload that image. Try again.

The Google rating

Tick Show the Google rating.

When your listing is linked, the line under the tick starts with Shows and ends with Google reviews, and it names the rating and how many reviews customers will see.

When it is not linked, the tick stays off. The line reads Ask TapBook to link your Google listing first.

Things to check

Words on the colour are hard to read

The help under Brand colour is the rule: if text on it would be hard to read, the form adjusts it. Check Preview before you choose Save branding.

The rating stays off

The line under the tick is Ask TapBook to link your Google listing first. Email TapBook and ask them to link the listing. The tick can't be turned on until then.

Customers still see your initials

There is no logo yet, or Remove image cleared it. On Logo, choose Upload image, then Save branding. Until a logo is saved, the form shows your initials.
